What path brought you to Wedgewood Building Company?
After being a member of the USAF and a 10yr run in Real Estate as a Loan Officer, I was looking to stay within Real Estate, but on the Operations side. I found Wedgewood Building Co in 2014 and joined their team!
What do you have a knack for?
I pride myself on loyalty, Integrity, and follow-through. If I commit to a task or tell you something, you can take it to the bank that it will be done.
What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients?
I give it my all to be proactive and pay attention to detail – We work in an ever evolving climate that is forever changing. When a problem arises I believe you are through the storm quicker when you go straight at it and through it, vs. running away from it or with it. My goal is to ensure the client gets the finished product to look just as they imagined it in their heads with as few obstacles or bumps along the way.
What are you passionate about?
Fairness and expectations – I ‘ve treated every job I’ve had with pride. With Wedgewood, building our clients homes, I treat that as if their project dream house is getting the attention as if it were my dream house.
What can’t you stop talking about?
My wife and I welcomed identical triplet boys in Nov of ’15. They seem to come up quite often, and I love it!
What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?
Outside of work and family time I’m a fitness, motorcycle, and firearms enthusiast. Quite a bit of my time is spent in the gym, heading out to find some fun corners on the bike, or a day at the range!
Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?
I grew up on the NW side of Chicago, but the Air Force brought me East. My wife and I moved to the Indy area due to all the great things we heard about it, but our triplets did bring us back East to be closer to my wife’s family sooner than we expected. Though no longer in Central Indiana I realized very quickly how great of an area it truly is!!
Are there any volunteer activities you love?
I love being involved with Habitat for humanity, adopting a family during the holidays, and animal rescue work (At anytime you are reading this chances are we have a foster cat or dog with us now!)
What awards or accomplishments are you proud of?
Honor Graduate USAF Honor Guard, Elite Drill Team & Security Forces Member, and Presidential Club Member
What would be impossible for you to give up?
Simple – my family.
Anything else you’d like to tell people about yourself?
My father always told me the only thing you ever own in life is your word, and that you don’t break that for anything. I pride myself on that simple belief, and that a persons word is the foundation of a persons character – Including my own.
