What path brought you to Wedgewood Building Company?
Brad Love reached out to me when Wedgewood needed an estimator. I had been working in the industry previously for over 10 years and the timing was perfect: I was looking for a new challenge. I started with Wedgewood Building Company in 2013.
What do you have a knack for?
I have a unique knack for estimating costs for new homes, pricing change orders and purchasing systems.
What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients?
Pricing options and generating specifications for a home they are selling with little information. Fast, accurate and accessible.
What are you passionate about?
Estimating a new plan – a new plan / project.
What can’t you stop talking about?
Hunting, fishing and camping. Love my kids and their achievements.
What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?
At the hockey rink watching my son. When the season is over, we like to relax at a campsite.
Where did you grow up and why aren’t you there now?
Grew up in Brownsburg and am still there today!
What awards or accomplishments are you proud of?
In college (at Purdue, 1994) we won the NAHB Residential Management Competition.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
Coffee.
